O R C H E S T R A T I O N S
When we use the term orchestration it refers to a musical arrangement that is intended for performance by an orchestra. Many years ago this was done with the use of only a pencil, manuscript paper and perhaps a piano. And only those who could afford to pay thousands of dollars to hire a studio orchestra, would get to hear their orchestrations recorded. Today we can produce orchestrations for a fraction of the cost by using computer software and high-end sound libraries.
I've invested thousands of dollars into sound libraries so that I can offer high quality original orchestrations as well as mock-ups from existing scores. When an original orchestration has been completed it can then be engraved using notation software for use in live performance by an orchestra.
Here is an original orchestration I created for America's Got Talent top 10 contestant, Lawrence Beamen.
